About

Carlson H. Coogler earned her Ph.D. in Educational Research with a focus on qualitative methodologies at The University of Alabama (Spring 2024). She is an interdisciplinary thinker, a former K-12 instructor, and a methodologist-researcher-teacher-artist/poet. Accordingly, her work intertwines methodology, pedagogy and art-making as she works to make sense ‘with/in and across’ ways of knowing.

Her research agenda has two primary trajectories—

(1) (Qualitative) Methodological Literacies (Coogler, 2024)

(2) Artful Inquiry (Guyotte et al., 2024)—

and is most often feminist (/post-structural), critical (/speculative), and pedagogical.
